Great Ideas!

Did you ever notice that you get your best ideas, at the most inconvenient times?  Like while driving down the highway at 70 miles per hour, or while standing in the shower letting the hot water melt through your skin.  Then once you are finally in a position where you could jot down the most amazing idea you've ever had...it escapes your brain, forever to elude your memory!

Ugh, I wonder how many amazing ideas have floated off into the great unknown...

Words that Should Never Be Spoken!!

I learned a very important lesson today.  Never say the words, "I can't take one more thing, today!" out loud!!  What I learned is that you WILL get one more thing to deal with!  Chances are, it won't be a small thing.  But of course, the word "small" depends on one's perspective. 

Instead what I should remind myself to say is, "Thank you Lord, that this is ALL I have to deal with today."

Lesson learned.

If you're curious about what I'm referring to....just know that I'm a very blessed mom of three beautiful healthy children, two of which are in school and multiple extracurricular activities.  One is still in diapers and slowly but surely redecorating my entire house with a Sharpie.  (Where do these things keep coming from anyway?)  I work a full time job that I LOVE.  We are also raising two dogs, one cat, six rabbits and one very fat pig.  Phew!!  And you wondered what could possibly make me say, "I can't take one more thing!"  :)

God, PLEASE grant grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, the wisdom to know the difference, and the stamina it takes to continue on.  AMEN!!
